Berner Group: Strategic partnership with Scania in Germany expanded

Following the recently agreed supply contract for Scania's central European parts and logistics center in Oudsbergen, Belgium, Berner Group is now significantly expanding its strategic partnership with the world's leading provider of transport solutions on the German market. Both companies have already been working together in this country since 2015. In the future they want to cooperate even more closely, especially in the field of future-oriented hybrid and electric mobility. As a result, BERNER is now equipping 54 Scania branches with the corresponding special products.

The B2B wholesaler has recently significantly increased its innovative eMobility range. Automotive professionals can obtain everything they need for everyday workshop work from BERNER: The acceptance of plug-ins or commercial vehicles with e-drives is covered as well as the safeguarding of work areas, the inspection of technical components and the maintenance of current-carrying batteries. There are also suitable offers from BERNER for emergency salvage or the dismantling of the entire system. In addition to special eMobility products, Scania's German branches can of course continue to access the full BERNER range 24/7. To make the ordering process as flexible as possible, Scania has access to BERNER's entire omni-channel landscape. In doing so, Scania's branch managers can choose between the field service, call center, Profi-Point stores, app and web store to use exactly the channel that is most effective for them. "We always want to be there when Scania needs us," emphasizes Olaf Etling, Senior Key Account Manager National Automotive/Mobility at BERNER. "Because our mission is to keep our customers' world together and moving." For example, there is also a regular transfer of knowledge and know-how between the two partners. The focus is on the most common applications around vans and heavy commercial vehicles - from brake service to tire changes, bonding broken windows to plastic repair or interior and exterior cleaning.
